Ronald E. Galbraith – Chairman/Chief Consulting Officer
Well known as an industry leader in organizational development and human performance, Ronald E. Galbraith is the Founding Partner of ONFocus Healthcare, Inc., which he founded in 1985. Working with hundreds of healthcare organizations and executive teams, Ron creates practical models for converting strategy into action, individuals into powerful teams and infusing a culture of excellence into increasingly complex environments. Prior to launching this m21partners, Ron served as the Vice President for Executive Development with Hospital Corporation of America. Completing a doctorate at Carnegie Mellon University also provided Ron with an opportunity to conduct fellowship sponsored research at the Laboratory for Human Development at Harvard University. This research focused on the cognitive theory associated with decision making and ethical reasoning.
Steven J. Mason, Jr. – President/Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Mason is a proven senior executive with over 14 years experience in starting, expanding and operating market leading technology and healthcare services companies in the health and human services industry. Before becoming Managing Partner/CEO at ONFocus Healthcare, Inc., Mr. Mason co-founded Qualifacts Systems in 2000 and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer from 2000 to 2006. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Mason served as the Director of Operations and then the Chief Operating Officer of Camelot Care Centers and Camelot Community Care. Prior to 1997, Mr. Mason worked as a management consultant for a national healthcare consulting firm successfully completing projects with several of the nation's largest healthcare provider and managed care organizations. Mr. Mason holds a master's degree from Vanderbilt University, a healthcare management certificate from the Owen Graduate School of Management and a bachelor’s of arts degree from the University of Mississippi.
William P. Schaude – SVP/Sales and Marketing
Mr. Schaude specializes in working with hospital C suite executives and their teams to provide unique solutions related to optimizing strategic and operational performance throughout the entire organization. He has over 30 years of experience in hospitals, physician groups and consulting management. Prior to joining ONFocus Healthcare, Inc., Mr. Schaude held executive positions in hospitals, healthcare related public companies and private entrepreneurial firms. As a hospital President and CEO, he was responsible for the development of the overall strategy that led a successful turnaround of a 400 bed hospital in New Jersey. As a Vice President at HCA, Mr. Schaude was responsible for hospital management and new business ventures. Mr. Schaude has extensive experience in working with other companies that provided innovative solutions, products and services to the healthcare market. He has held executive positions with consulting companies that provided information technology systems, physician management and general management services to hospitals. Mr. Schaude holds a Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration, Magna Cum Laude, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a member of ACHE and HFMA.
Jerry Reardon, Ph.D. – SVP/Chief Operations Officer
With more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Jerry Reardon has provided strategic and operational consulting services to a broad range of clients, including the Department of Defense, integrated delivery systems, managed care organizations and health technology companies. Before becoming a Senior Vice-President at ONFocus Healthcare, Inc., Jerry was senior vice president of a market research and consulting firm with major pharmaceutical, technology, disease management and managed care clients. He previously served as senior vice president at a disease management company where he helped develop disease management solutions for clients that were among the first in the country to be accredited by JCAHO. Jerry held a number of business management positions with the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and the John Hopkins Hospital. Jerry received his Ph.D. from Rutgers University. In addition he held joint faculty appointments at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in the Department of Community Medicine and the Department of Psychiatry, and at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Steven Vertrees – Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Vertrees is an experienced Solution Engineer and Solution Developer with over nine years of experience designing and developing software applications primarily for the healthcare industry. He has worked with large state health and human service agencies and private provider organizations. Steve's design and development experience includes both clinical and financial domain expertise as well as extensive knowledge of EDI and reporting. Professionally, Steve has led software development teams and successfully completed projects ranging from small web applications to the development and implementation of large enterprise software products. Before coming to ONFocus Healthcare, Inc., Steve was a lead application designer and developer for Qualifacts Systems. He has consulted with many companies including Federal Express, Nevada County California, National Toxicology Services, and Doctor’s Transcription Services. He has experience working in Microsoft, Oracle, and UNIX environments and is very proficient at designing and developing .NET and SQL Server solutions.
Jim Stokes – Co-Founder, Senior Advisor
Jim Stokes brings more than 30 years experience in hospital and healthcare system management and consulting to his role as Co-founder at ONFocus Healthcare, Inc. Most recently, he served as President of Quorum Health Resources, LLC, a management services company with more than 300 hospital and health system clients in 43 states. Jim was responsible for new business development, client relations and operation management for four hospital operations divisions, a consulting division, the financial and corporate support departments, American Health Facilities Development, LLC, and Cambio Health Solutions, LLC. Prior to that, Jim held senior officer-level positions at Quorum Health Resources and Hospital Corporation of America, including hospital CEO and multi-hospital senior management roles.
Dale Sargent, M.D. – Senior Advisor
Dale Sargent, M.D., is an experienced physician executive with a broad range of clinical and administrative experience. As a Senior Advisor at ONFocus Healthcare, Inc., Dale excels at building collaborative working relationships and has a passion for clinical quality and safety. Prior to joining m21partners, Dale served as chief medical officer of a four-hospital regional health system. While serving as medical director for the system’s 650-member physician-hospital organization, he helped it become one of the first five PHOs to receive accreditation from JCAHO. On the inpatient side, Dale was responsible for physician profiling for both utilization and quality parameters and helped physicians not only understand but make practice pattern changes based on the profiles.
